Well, after almost a year of research and various bids and hemming and hawing, I've finally pulled the trigger on a new metal barn shop.
Center body will be 16x30 with an 8x30 lean to on each side. One side will be enclosed and will be the wife's workout area, the other side will be open to the main center area and will be my shop. Tractor storage and wood shop.
Currently waiting on drawings for permits and so I can get concrete bids, but looking for interior wall ideas.

I'm thinking of plywood for the wall material so I have the ability to put up racks, shelving, signs and misc paraphernalia, but open to other ideas. I know it's a metal building and not a cool old barn which is what I would like to have, but I want the inside to have a cool and funky vibe to hang out as well.
Also looking for lighting ideas....I realize LED shop lights offer the most bang for the buck for lighting, but something cooler without breaking the bank would be nice.

Saw some photos on the internet where someone used galvanized sheets on the wall instead of wood. That is a very cool look, but I'm not sure if it would reflect the sound of power tools and make it loud? My assumption is wood would be a better product from a sound point of view....

I used OSB on the walls. Cheaper than ply, still structural for hanging stuff.
LED UFO lights are your friends. Once and done - I'd recommend a dimmer. The "hassle reduction" factor of these lights over tubes/ballasts is amazing.
