I usually do not post pictures of the tools I buy but I am making an exception for this because it is so nice. I have a couple meters but this one is by far my nicest. It is a Fluke 773 and the reason I bought it is to be able to troubleshoot control circuitry in automation systems. I work on electromechanical systems everyday and the first step in troubleshooting is being able to quickly decide if you have a control, mechanical or electrical problem. Sometimes it is obvious but others not so much. I am really looking forward to using this to solve problems faster and be able to give definitive answers about the types of problems we are having. Anyone who has experience with this type of meter please feel free to comment about its usefulness or your favorite features. My next purchase will be a portable scope for looking at encoder signals, etc. but it will be a while. Thanks for looking.

Nothing to add about the meter but my local community college is offering a associates in mechatronics that I'm thinking about taking.

How do you like the work? I'm currently in the low voltage trade working on access control, CCTV, telecom stuff and work has been really slow.

Good score, Ive also got one, bought it after using a 771 for a year or so, still got the 771 but mostly use the 773 now. As for the scope I have a Fluke 196 and I would highly recommend it but it may be a bit large for your use.
