Ihave a millermatic 200 with the original ka-18 gun. I need to replace with a good replacement but not some astronautical price. I do not weld enough for that kind of costs. Which one would y'all recommend. Something middle of the road.
A 15' gun is fine on a 250 amp machine(it most likely came new that way). It's when you put a 15' gun on a 140/180/200/210 amp machine you run the risk of overloading the drive and damaging something......they simply were never engineered to push wire that far.I replaced my Miller 255 with a 15’ twecko gun last year. I’ve got maybe 30yrs on it with zero issues.
Yup, lump every LWS in one big group.Usaweld.com typically has good options
LWS can **** it, never a good deal. Just company accounts and bend you over pricing.
Only a good option if your company relies on service, and better hope service falls on their limits hours
I would wager a cheap Amazon gun will last 150lbs of wire, long enough for most.
Send a link to your local LWS, would like to compare prices!Yup, lump every LWS in one big group.![]()
