So, stuck with small spools of wire and a limited TIG (sold separately). I still like the Lincoln Squarewave 200 for the same money. It has full featured TIG including AC and HF, wave form shaping, etc. It's a tradeoff of real TIG for MIG. But I already have a Miller 211 so MIG is covered.

Just went to the spec sheet. They did squeeze an 8" spool in there. That helps, but I would still want real AL TIG.

Looks like miller spent the extra 5 bucks on a gas solenoid for the TIG option. PM210 or the Esab rebel didn't think the extra money was worth it. If miller had added a HF start, this machine would be unbeatable. The HF would have added an extra 20 bucks.

I have a MM210 & a Syncrowave 200, so I'm good for mig, tig & stick, but I kinda crave a smaller mig that I could run with .023 wire for body work

Lack of AC Tig really *****. I have the 211 inverter and it is a great little machine. Just the other day, I got a cart built for it and to the point of being able to use the cart and figure out how to tweak it before I paint it.

For tig work, I use a Miller 330 abp and often work with aluminum. The cord holder for the 211 cart is made from aluminum. The Dynasty 280 would be the best match for what I do, so I am better off buying that when I can justify the cost. If the all in one had AC Tig or was good for welding 18ga to 1/4" aluminum, it would have been very appealing, even without all the waveforms and fancy features of the dynasty.

If it had the AC for TIG with the HF start, I would pay upwards of 1800 for a machine like that. The reason it doesn't, is it will cut in to other machine they are selling.

Even then, The duty cycle is a joke on all these machines, Red, Blue and yellow.

It's sad when Everlast import welders off a WAY better process (pulse/synergic), duty cycle, price point and warranty. (5 years)

^^^agreed. The duty cycle is ****. But what are you going to do. I have a Multimatic 200 and it's a great machine but a compromise when compared to my MM252 and Dynasty 200.
