The 252 being 3500 makes the Hobart 230 even more of a deal. I would have to put the Hob on my short list if I was looking for a new full chassis machine.
Yeah those were CAD. Sorry. And were also getting the $300 off that $3500, so around $3200 CAD + 15% Tax = $3680 out the door..
My comment was more about just how much the cost of these things has risen in the last 5-6ish years Ive had mine. Even the Lincoln MP210 (complete tig kit) is like $2850 before rebates.
And the price of steel gone way up too

Just bought 4- 8' pieces of 1.5, 2, 2.5 & 3" flatbar to refill my shop supplies, and that cost $66.91

Cant afford to build anything these days.
