I really want one but they're just so danged expensive. I hope to snag one on a deal at some point. 18 Ga brad nailer is the only air tool I still use.

Edit: After watching that video it seems like there's sort of a... contrast to the Real Tool Reviews video on it. Comments could get ugly!

I might have to pull the trigger on one. I hate the lag on my Ryobi Airstrike.

For light use . . . . and . . . only straight nailing, the MW may be alright. However, it does not handle rapid-fire nailing . . . nor . . . . angle nailing very well. See the Real Tool Review that exposes problems with the MW nailer:

In the Real Tool Review, it also appeared that MW tore up wood and MW had more misfires than the Ryobi Airstrike.

I'd suggest plenty of research to make sure tool matches how it will be used.

I watched it, too. There seems to be a 90-10 split opinion on the Ryobi beating the Milwaukee. To me, if you want to fire hundreds of nails the fastest, you'd spend your money more wisely on a compressor/nailer combo kit. Rapid firing a finish nailer as a test is like drag racing new pickup trucks. It doesn't reflect real world useage, and is hardly a way to pick a "winner". "I bought a Ram because it beats a Silverado on the 1/4. For those 17 seconds or less, I'm free." lol.

I think A Concord Carpenter's review is a little more realistic. Either way you look at it, a cordless nailer is only for small jobs, or jobs where you move around a lot, like finish work in a house, not to be used all day in a cabinet shop.

After watching the video I came away pretty surprised with the performance of the Ryobi vs Milwaukee. I know the whole "bump fire until it dies" test is controversial, but I was more surprised about the lack of recoil from the Ryobi and how handy their LED setup is vs the Milwaukee.

Im guessing part of the recoil is from the Milwaukee maybe being more powerful, but the LED setup is surprising, especially for a tool thats twice (maybe 3x?) the price.
