The torque wrench is way too bulky, not liking that. The long neck ratchets have got my attention. The grinders are a "we'll see" due to high consumption they can have during operation. Glad to see Milwaukee coming out with even better stuff however I don't understand the move into hand tools. Power tools are their forte why move into a super crowded segment.

Those 90 degree die grinders look awesome! I am guessing they are variable speed

They should make the long neck in the brushed version, fuel version head to me is bulky

Die grinders and 18G brad nailer have my attention!

I do a lot of quick rust and grime removal with roloc discs and 3M stud tool in a drill because I don't have the air setup to run die grinders. Those look perfect for me.

I've wanted a finish nailer for awhile and haven't wanted to get a portable air setup or get into another battery system.

That radio looks interesting as well, mostly for yard work and car detailing in the driveway.

I'm wondering if that is a powered torque wrench(torque limiting). It would seem pretty stupid if it were just an electronic torque wrench.

I'm wondering whether that's 4 different speed grinders or one grinder with 4 speed settings:dunno:

I did think it was a stupid large torque wrench but now you mention it maybe it is powered?

I’m annoyed. I’ve only used my 16ga nailer and polisher sander a handful of times and I’d rather have the brand nailer and angle grinder. Grrrr

Its powered, basically a fuel ratchet with torque readings built in and one key, but beyond the power of the ratchet you need to do the additional torque by hand.

Only new packout things just announced are the radio/charger, milk crate, flat dolly, and mounting plates. Everything else has been out for a while. Crate is $39, which is disappointing, should be $29

I'm looking at getting a packout and curious if there's anything new about the boxes themselves or if there's just new addons like the milk crate....

Man I'm going to be broke. I will by 2 of those Rear handle saws if they work as good as they seem. Really would of liked to see someone toss a 5.0 to compare power really quick.

M18 12" Miter - Maybe need to test for myself.
M18 Router - Yes
M18 Packout Radio - Maybe
M12 Right Angle Die Grinder - Yes
M12 Surge - Yes
M18 Nailers - Maybe I don't use my Paslodes as much these days but might be looking into when needed since batteries are old and need to buy gas since it goes Bad.

A few other goodies

Wish they would of made a Fuel version of the Multi tools and upgraded Fuel version of the sander.

Not annoyed per se because I use my 1/4 fuel ratchet everyday for over 6 months now but if I knew the long necks would come out I would have gotten a 1/2 reg ratchet and 1/4 long neck. Now I have another thing to add to the want list. Better that than disappointment I guess

That torque wrench looks like someone made it in their garage out of a calculator, a cheap ratchet, and some old weedwacker parts.

If the worm drive saw is anything like the Gen2 Fuel circular saw you wont get the full power out of it unless you use a HO battery.

Looks like a big, durable, functional powered digital torque wrench to me. How do you think it should look?

More like a tool than a giant billy club with a Blackberry glued to it?

I've never wished for a powered torque wrench. I have wished for a smaller torque wrench that fits in more places more easily. Without a pivoting head, you'd need wide open spaces to use that thing. And the 1/2" only goes to 150 ft lbs.

My bad, missed the part where it said "Designed for L.Cheapo" on it. Look, I get that it's not specifically what you're asking for and that *****. But there are workers out there who need to accurately torque down dozens or hundreds of fasteners every day where clearance isn't an issue and this wrench is a godsend for them. You're needs are better suited to a different tool.

Thats ok, I missed the part forbidding criticism of the Milwaukee Gods' latest offerings. I'll get back in line, Comrade.

You're right about one thing though...my needs and my $600 (bare tool) are better suited elsewhere. Good day, sir.

Man, do you enjoy feeling persecuted when no one's going after you? Your initial criticism was:

  • Looks stupid

So I asked you how you think it should look. Then you give a non-answer and go off on a tangent about how a big, powered torque wrench has the following problems:

  • Big
  • Powered

And now you think that criticism is forbidden because I point out that you're looking for a different tool? Don't know what to tell you, man.

But I will say that the new M18 circular saw seems like it's going to do a terrible job cutting my lawn.

Figured so. Just was wondering more like in a pinch if HO batteries are being charged etc. If it can handle some Nice wet 3/4" Fire Treated Plywood.

I have 3 - 12.0 HO right now and just got good deal on 4 - 6.0 HO. I know the 8.0 HO are here now but for the price Less than $60 each couldn't pass that up. I'm sure those 6.0 could handle it just fine.

That 18 ga brad nailer looks more compact than than the gen 1. If it works, I might consider it, but I’m not jumping the gun this time around. The gen 1 is the worst POS tool I own.
