I'm a Milwaukee guy and I'm pleased to see them expand the tool lineup but I had to buy into DeWalt, to get a decent set of tools. Who's steering the ship at Milwaukee?
How about improving the chucks a bit, so they don't spit out bits? I mean, just make the non-fuel drills usable, they don't have to be fancy chucks like DeWalt uses on their high end stuff.
How about making a jigsaw that works properly. I regret not sending mine back. If I had not purchased it through an online supplier, I would have returned it as not fit for the task. The blade collet is a horrible design. It doesn't hold many blade types and, the ones it does hold, are not held straight.
... and how about a framing nailer? I'm sure they will have one in a few years but I'll be half DeWalt by then.
The great tools from Milwaukee include: hex light, FUEL drills, FUEL impacts, circular saw, Sawzall, specialty plumbing tools, and the batteries (and chargers) are excellent.
I wish they were less hot and cold. They should strive for hot and warm. The worst tools should at least be usable. Anyone who has used the base model M12 drill knows how infuriating it is to have the bit spit out every time you pull the trigger. I'd like to throw that tool at a Milwaukee product specialist. lol!
