New montezuma 41” tool box

Picked up this montezuma box for my home garage today, wanted to make this post as there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of user feedback on these boxes, im quite surprised at the quality of this box for the money, drawers feel sturdy and it’s got double slides on all the deep drawers, it’s a little shallow at only 18 inches deep but the drawers do extend fully, great drawer latch system, I would recommend this box to anyone looking for some affordable tool storage for home, for professional use, I’ll keep my snap on. paid just over 1000 CAD for the whole thing.

Looks like a nice box. I've never heard of that brand. The name Montezuma, well is linked with diarrhea now isn't it? I know he was an Aztec ruler, but still.


Wouldn't think you'd name a restaurant after him, but someone did.

I'm no marketing expert, but surely I can't be the only one that associates the name Mentezuma with diarrhea.

They used to be made here in Kansas and built hell for stout. I can’t speak to new products they make.

We can get them south of the border under the Masterforce brand from Menards. I've got a 36" stack I keep overflow and specialty tools in. They're good boxes for home use.

Picked it up at peavey mart, I believe high river would have the closest one to you.

I have the 46x24 combo. I really like it. Apparently they are the same boxes as Masterforce from Menards but I don't have any near me to compare so I'll take other's word for it. You are right, there is limited feedback on them, but I have had nothing but positive experience with mine. Well built, smooth drawer slides, and rolls around the garage easily even loaded up.

I got it on sale, normal price was around 1300 + tax, I think the sale ends today.
