New moog ball joints

Okay so today I had a ball joint job on a 10 navigator and when I got them in one had a boot and the other did not. So I called to get another but I was told that that is a new design. Didn't believe them so I googled it for myself and sure enough it is true. I'm uploading two pics one is before grease and the other after.

There was a discussion about this on iATN the other day. Sounds like there is less chance of the boot getting messed up with the new design.

If it bugs you that much, you can go buy a boot from most auto places
