New (old) favorite ratchet

I put a sk dt80 on a s-k 3870 and I think this is now my favorite ratchet. Has anyone else used this kit on the older roto head ratchets? And do you guys think this kit will add extra wear to the head since it makes contact at two sides now?

I did the same thing to my 3770 and 3870. I love them both. My favorite is still my S-K Wayne 45170 but that was my first SK ratchet. I never thought about the wear but I would think it would be non issue. I have an early SK diamond that is still good as new. The tool will probably still outlast me with care. I do like to clean and lube my regularly. Farm equipment and farm trucks can dirty up a ratchet quick.
