Hello, All. I got here by trying to find help online to free up the stuck swivel base on my estate sale Yost 203 Meadville machinist vise. Never realized the value of those old things but then again it makes sense - build tools that last forever and do a simple job perfectly and they should be worth a lot. As far as the vise goes, I'll probably haul it over to the hardware store and see if one of those younger, stronger guys (with the breaker bar and bigass socket that I don't have), can break it loose. Save me having to soak it in diesel fuel, according to several guys on here. Anyway, I have lots of stuff from before I was born and no plans to get rid of it as long as it works; that's me in a nutshell.
