This is my first time on any forum.I am a 59 yr.old retired after 35 yrs,as a industrial mechanic/electrician.I was involved in an industrial accident where a ball valve failed on a high pressure air line, was injured, hence now retired.I am currently putting together an 83' chevy shortbed 1/2. I just finished building a 476 c.i. bbc that I have on a engine stand in my shop ready to install in the truck after I am finished with it. Anyway its good to find a site like this where I have no doubt will find excellent info.on many subjects and projects. Thank you to all for sharing your vast amount of knowledge.

I do have pictures of the 83' chevy truck and bbc engine. I have a good digital camera and have the pics downloaded on my p.c. But, I'm not very computer savvy, but not stupid. So, when I figure out how to upload these pictures I will. Thank you all for your interest and replies. I know I will have many questions before this build is complete, and look forward to all of the help and experiance I know I can get from this site. Once again thanks to all.
