So basically this is about finding tools from the past that are still new and unused. Luckily there are still lots of new old stock tools around and i buy plenty. Today i was totally surprised when an ebay buy arrived, once i saw the original shipping box i had a good feeling. Opened up to find a new Stanley hinge **** set, still in original packing plus spare parts, never mentioned it was new in the description.
I’m guessing mid 70s, still has the original recite in the box, 45$ not bad i only paid 60$. Can’t wait to make up a few new jambs this week, almost hate to use it. So let’s here if some cool news finds off the past, I’ll admit i get a little nostalgic using tools or equipment made when i was a kid, maybe even something the old man had.
