My door is is 16x7 on detached garage with side drive, no alley. Garage is behind house facing street. We are going with long panel ranch style with cascade windows across top. Current door is dark drown that we do not want this time. Siding is a cream/yelllowish and sofit, facia and gutters are brown. We narrowed it down to Desert Tan or Sandstone. Desert Tan is lighter and close to the siding. Sandstone is bit darker. I had some paint color matched to the chips from the company we are going with and painted a section on both sides. Any suggestions on the color that will look the best? Attached is a pic. Thanks.

It looks from the picture that almond would be closer to the color of the siding, but my vote would be white.

Instead of painting the door to see how it looks, most companies have programs where you can upload the picture of your house or garage and see how various doors and colors look. You might give that a shot.
