When I type a post on my iPad, it doesn’t capitalize new sentences, when I use a “carriage return” to start a paragraph. It’s certainly a first world problem, just wanted to mention it.

That's a device or Brower setting, not the forum. I don't know Apple stuff, but on my androids, particularly the swift key app I use, I can change capitalization settings in the app. See if you can find something on keyboard or input
