Thanks for posting that! It's hard to see from the pic but are they similar? I've never seen the matco ones. .

Just so everyone's clear the racks that I'm selling will ONLY be sold here on garage journal and nowhere else! I've gotten some really good deals on GJ and I'm glad I can give back with these USA made plier racks! You guys will keep me plenty busy I'm sure

Cut all the wire for batch 2 today! When I have a for sure idea of completion I'll let you all know!

Pics of the wife's ra...

OK sorry, I couldn't help it.

My wife's rack belongs in the "Thread of Awesome"!

I consolidated 2 drawers in my little tool box into this one. Extra space = buy more tools! Thanks Matt! Quick follow through and great communication!

The tool truck racks are different enough from yours. Totally different design with the holding portion, I wouldn't worry at all. You can google pliersrack and see the differences.

Figured I would post up a pic of my setup. As some of yiu know i just got the HF44 (had a craftsman 26").
My company produces the top box you see there for crown bolt so I grabbed two damaged ones stacked them, built drawers and handles for it then powder coat of course

I will be posting up the shipping prices to Canada and Australia tonight. I'm going to the post office to set up an online account [emoji106]

Something to think about, depending on how much you plan on selling - Stamps.com.

$18/month and you can ship everything from home at discounted rates.

I agree with the posters who are saying the racks you get off the truck or from amazon are TOO LOW. Those cause the pliers to fall to the side.

Yours Matt... have a much better hight variation causing them to hold the pliers as they should, upright.

Question for those who have received racks. How well do the Knipex pliers fit into the slots? I was thinking I may need custom slots but wanted to ask first. Also might be cool to hear what you have that didn't fit the slot. I think that might help Matt to know that at some point.

For me, I put my pliers in handle first, leaving the plier end hanging out. This works for me because you can see them better. It also solves the issue you are bringing up.

I don't have any Knipex at this time but do have a few "thicker plier end" pliers. Again... putting them in handle first solves it and looks rather nice. I hear you tho... it might be an issue for some.

The rack does have a wonderful range of "spaces" tho.

Please add me to the next list for 2 sets of black.

Thanks!

Hey Matt, those are excellent racks! Would it be possible to angle the spaces, so the pliers don't stand so tall?

I did think of this before but the way I bend them it would take way too long for final assembly. I would have to set the angle and space of each wire by hand. Thanks though I appreciate all the feedback I've gotten!
