The would awesome in green. That would get a good response from the So green people. You could do them in four colors Black, Green, Red, Orange and Blue. If you do I'm in for a green set. Don't know why green except it would pop in a black tool box.

This looks really good! I did something similar using an old wire CD rack, but it doesn't look nearly as good, not to mention some of the wider pliers don't fit.

Job well done.

I think GJ is going to single handedly pay off this kids school. It would be hard for to turn down buying another set in SO green.

I'm with it. After I get the first few batches done I will be in touch with cudachick and hopefully we can figure out a way to get you all custom colored racks. If that doesn't work out I can have my coater do whatever colors I want. Wait time is the only issue!

Hey everyone I have a few updates.

1. The racks are done! And thank you to everyone who send payment over the weekend.
I did however have a minor slip up. I am not familiar with usps I assumed that I could walk in and ship things to whomever I wish and purchase boxes from them and packing etc. Well I can if I want to pay 15 bucks to ship each set. So this morning I ordered boxes from u line as well as bubble wrap to protect them! And will have your plier racks in the mail tomorrow!

This is all a learning experience for me guys thanks for being patient with my newbness

Matt, the Post Office has free boxes available in the lobby. Sometimes the Flat Rate Boxes are the best way to go if your racks fit in them; watch out for the Express Mail and Priority Mail markings on the other boxes in the display as they usually cost quite a bit more. You can also log onto USPS.com and look at the various mailing options they have; "Standard Post" is a very popular choice for my customers if they aren't in a hurry. You can add insurance for a nominal fee as well.

Hang in there -- you'll learn quickly. Hit me up if I can help out with anything ... I ship stuff all over the world and am happy to assist you.

I also want in on a set that fits the HF drawers.

Edit: You could see if they fit in a padded flat rate envelope (12.5 x 9.5), but you have to special order them (free) through USPS, they don't typically have them at the office. I think they're like 6 and a half bucks to ship.

I have been hanging back lol you've been instantly swamped and I'm in no hurry. Congrats on finding a pretty slick twidget. Your design will also work for hammers if scaled up. I had a similar, but nowhere near as polished deal for my hammers that I hobbled together about a year ago.

Matt, I would check USPS online and order free boxes. They should have something that would fit and they get the boxes to you in a timely manner. I was surprised how fast they were. I sell a decent amount of stuff on ebay and have found that to be the best solution for shipping.

Yep. That's right I totally forgot about that.
Oh well I got custom sized boxes so they will fit perfectly lol

Thanks guys. Trust me I want to get these racks to you just as bad as you want them!

How much did shipping to Australia work out to? Definitely interested in a rack or two.

I'm going to have that info for you tonight when I have the racks in the actual boxes with packing and all!
