Matt, is there a way you could run off a batch of say, 20, instead of 10? Might make it easier to get caught up ;)

Oh, OK I just saw on the last page that batch 9 had 10 folks. I have no idea what batch you're on and when you'll get to mine. I'll just be patient now.

Do you do colors yet? I'm thinking red like SnapOn or a silver would be nice. But, I'd be OK with black. See why you really need an order thread? LOL

EXACTLY! My plan is that when I finish these orders I am going to stock product in black and multiple other colors that way there will be no waiting and I can ship same day orders

Awesome!

If only it was your equipment you could go the entrepreneur route, start building products, sell 'em online, get 'em in stores and let the cash roll in, do it full time :rocker:

I'd be interested in one.

Have you thought about making the blue match channellocks. That would look pretty awesome.

If you are still taking orders, please include me. I prefer to help out by purchasing "Made in the USA" over "Imported" any day!

The talk of wrench racks all started with a rumor thanks to the gentleman below haha

But due to intrest there WILL be wrench racks coming hahaha [emoji2]

After putting my pliers in Matts rack (1st ship batch)... all i thought about for days was sticking my wrenches in his rack. Matt has a wonderful rack(s).

I had to retype that above line several times to get it past the moderators.

Matt, reports of massive plier pile up at my cave. Drawers are bursting at the seams from the mountains of disorganized plier chaos. Reds appear to be Knipex and blues should be Channellock. SOS
Just kidding, need a black set....

What's up everyone. Figured I would post up with an update. I'll start with saying please don't give up on me haha work is as busy as its ever been in the 6 years I've been here. I'm working five 10 hour days and then an 8 hour day on Saturdays currently. All machines have setups that I cannot change right now to produce the racks. Work load ends next week so as soon as we finish up this production run. Plier racks will be back in production! Sorry for the delay! PLIER RACKS WILL BE MADE I PROMISE!
Thanks for 7 understanding everyone.

Sounds good Matt . . . I'm sure everyone here works for someone & they all understand "acceptable, but under the radar projects". Take your time and don't appear to push or jealousy & envy on the part of @ least one co-worker could cost you access to equipment. We can wait . . .

Be happy that your employer has a lot of work . . . or you may end up making plier racks with a couple pair of side cutters. . . :)

We all understand Matt - my boss seems to throw important projects in my lap last minute when he knows I'm saddled with multiple other important ones. 2.5 hours late tonight because of one of those today in fact.
Glad you're company is so busy - in times like these it's a good thing to see. My Craftsmans and channel locks will have to intermingle with the vise grips just a little longer.

Matt, I have worked in a large sheet metal fabrication shop, I completely understand. Take your time, job and health come before this side project.

I have purchased some really nice items from fellows on deals like this. Had a fellow that was making these sweet little vises for a particular woodworking function. Well as the sales picked up so did the interest of his boss since it was the company machine shop he was using. He was on his own time with his own materials, but face it for some reason most employers can't stand it when an employee makes a nickel and he doesn't get a piece of it.

I am thinking that this is what happened here & surely not Matt's fault.

I hope I am wrong . . .

yeh - I have no idea of what is happening but I will say this- having /running/whatever your own business on ANY level is tougher on a thousand platforms more than the average Joe might think... just sayin' my 2 cents...:dunno:
