I don't think his profit margin was big enough to handle the demand of his 9-5 and making these. Or he got a girlfriend and she is taking up all of his free time.

hopefully he doesn't have anyone's money without them getting their rack.

just seems odd to me as he was adamant that we were going to receive these and that he had purchased more material

Things do happen in life....I understand the frustration & maybe he will never login again.....but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. You all are still "in line" & you have not pre-paid, so what exactly are you "out"?

What if he got in a car wreck?

What if he is taking care of a sick family member?

Give the guy a break....he obviously did not have much of a markup on these & was making them to help people out.

+1 . I am in the fortunate position to have received these racks- totally awesome  . My (unfounded by any proof ) thoughts are that maybe he struck an "unreasonable customer" ( you know the type : didn't receive/package damaged/give me ten racks for free/received fine but reversed Paypal anyway..etc etc etc yada yada yada..and decided it wasn't worth it to continue) . Gosh knows I fantasised about giving up work and going postal MANY,MANY days when I was in retail !!! :wtf:

I think when he started he was thinking he would build a few dozen, make a few bucks. His price was too low.

I'm sure the locating shipping material, boxing them up, taking them to the shipper & maintaining that low profile at work while using his employer's equipment all took a toll.

I have a CNC Plasma Table . .designing & cutting is fun . . . Cleaning parts up, painting & shipping will wear you out quick . . .

At least I learned about a new piece of equipment from him, the Diarco Benders . . .

It's okay I can wait how ever long it takes. Probably busy with life. It's understandable. He will get up with us.

From what Matt has said in his past posts, it's obvious he is a very busy person. I really don't think that Matt ever expected the response to these racks that he received. I really hope everything is alright with him. I also hope he is not avoiding GJ because of the demand for the racks. I am certain that everyone in here would be more then understanding if he said that he will not be producing anymore of them.

hello;

For those of you that were lucky enough to get a plier rack set from Matt would you be so kind to confirm the sizes I came up with will fit the Harbor Freight Boxes.

I want to build a few for myself and a friend that I had promised two sets for Christmas.

Thanks,
Steve

If you read through the thread you will find there was discussion as to 2.625 & 2.75.

The months long thread was centered around one particular box.

Since you did read my post I am curious why you responded if you did not receive a set from Matt.

Did you think I was too stupid to read the specs from Harbor Freight?

Again, it was mentioned in the thread that the specs were not right on.

But thank you, your input was of immense help . . . .

Steve:)

Hello everyone. Matt here. .
I've had alot of crazy big changes in my life and they are all great things!

First off my grandmother is doing alot better and is making forward progress so thank you to all of you that sent me messages wishing for her health to get better.

Secondly, my company has moved and I have moved up. I'm now the shop foreman and absolutely killing it. We have relocated to Rancho Cucamonga into a 160,000 Sq ft warehouse with a much larger shop. You all know how that goes... Bigger shop Bigger tools!!! We have upgraded a handful of our machines along with purchased a few new ones strictly for production, wire production which means plier racks will be back into production in the next 2-3 weeks.

And lastly I am now engaged to my beautiful Fiancé :)

I'm going to attack this with alot more professionalism this time around.

Like some of you mentioned I definitly was not ready for the Plier Racks to blow up they way they did and so I apologize to everyone that was on "batch lists" that did not receive racks. However this is why I did it the way I did and did not take payment from anyone who's racks were not made and ready to ship.

The new plan will be alot more organized and simple.

The plier racks will be able to purchase on a friends website/business that has a shipping department that I can use to pack and ship, instead of doing it at home and taking to post office myself. When orders are placed you can either pay with paypal or credit card.

Organizing it previously thru PMs on my phone was craziness, plus packing and shipping at home was terrible as well. Now with them on a website all the hard part is taken care of electronically and I can do what I do in the shop!

Thank you everyone who has been so loyal and understanding GJ rocks

So stay tuned for all the updates.
I will be working on taking the steps to become a vendor and having a post in vendor section woth the link to the website

Thank you

Matt

I am going to have everyone re order once I get it all setup. I'm thinking that maybe some people on the lists may not be interested anymore. I may pm everyone that was on lists with a link to order on the website if still interested kinda thing
