This started back in May by clearing the spot. 47 trees had to be forceably moved. Then the excavator came in and put in a driveway and leveled a spot in one day:bowdown: Next was the rough in plumbing for the bathroom, then the concrete pad. They started the building on Tuesday and the last picture is from Thursday at lunch. Just need to finish up the overhead doors and a few trim items. Then electrical, well, bathroom...all the fun stuff. Wish I knew how to out up bigger pictures:headscrat

It is located in Northern Wisconsin. Still in the early stages so not really ready for the Grand Tour. But here are a few more that show some details. Under all of the garbage in the corner is the roughed in plumbing for shower, sink, toilet and floor drain. Also have a floor drain between the garage stalls. It's 30x50x12 with 3 12x10 overhead doors. Has a 10x10 corner covered patio for the wife. That was her contribution to the planning process...How do you guys put large pictures into your posts????

Thanks for the photo help. This is up near Crivitz. Since I live by Kenosha, it is a weekend place to store the fun stuff and a base for camping. The inlaws took the pictures for me and it looks like my father in law is already thinking of stuff to put in it....Thanks for the kind words. Here are some better pics.

I like the cut out corner for the porch effect. Outside but sheltered.
It may seem like you are loseing space, but it will let you keep all the picnic type stuff out of the garage.
You could even put the BBQ there. (Not a good inda IN a garage!)

LOL!!! Now that's some funny stuff there. Nice looking place. I really like the rear door on it. That will make for a nice open feeling in the summer and let a breeze blow thru.

Thanks for the larger pictures, The first smaller ones made your place look like every other small 8' high car palace, BUT once I saw how big that place is, WOW. Now that's a nice place, beautiful and large.
How did you get away with so few trusses ( 10" apart??) I am sure it is code and strong, just diff from what we see around this area.
Enjoy and good luck...H

I'm not sure about the spacing on the trusses. I think they are 10' apart but I have not been up to see it yet. It's been killing me to stare at pictures all week, so this weekend will be my first chance to crack a beer and take it all in. The company that put it up does about 90% of the pole buildings in the area so I am relying on their experience. Future plans are to screen in the "patio" corner and put in a loft on one end for additional storage.

Any good security advice as far as overhead door locks/entry door locks would be appreciated.
