Yep, they brought a truckload of metal and wood one day, and had the skeleton of the building up within 2 days and had it all done within 5 days. I added the ceiling, did the wiring myself, and worked with Wolverine Coatings for the floor. I found a good deal on a 2 ton self-contained heat pump and will be installing that near the end of the month.

Very classy looking building. I'm certain you are very proud. Here are some questions that I hope you will comment on.
My home will be logs, so I think a wooden sided building will look better with logs. My garage space is limited by our small bench on the side of the mountain. I believe 24 x 30 will be all the room I will have. Here in North Idaho we have tons of companies that build shops, mostly with metal and pole building type like yours.
You mentioned a heat pump, but did I miss your explanation of insulation?
Did you consider wooden siding and did you do any cost comparisons?
What pitch is your roof?

-I got a 2 ton self-contained heatpump that was previously used on a mobile school unit. The building was insulated as they built it. It's R12 all the way around, but I'll be adding more to the ceiling before next winter. I'm not too worried about keeping it cool in the summer, but I do like to keep it about 50 degrees in the winter.
-I didn't consider the cost difference. I don't think it could cost much more.
-It's a 4:12 pitch. I installed a ceiling/attic floor in 2/3 of the building at the 12 foot level. I've been planning to install the ceiling in the last 1/3 of it at the 10 foot level but haven't gotten around to it yet.

What color blue did you get for the floor? I am trying to choose the color I want from Wolverine and yours looks good. They list Carolina Blue, Sea Blue, Blue and Cobalt Blue. Which blue is your floor? Is it the plain Blue Blue? What color flakes? Do you have any bigger pictures of the floor?
