Used 9.5" Microlam beams glued and screwed together with Simpson timber screws. Used Simpson heavy duty hangers for the beams. Framed with 2X10s on joist hangers. Used Simpson screws for the hangers instead of nails. Framed in an extra wide attic ladder for access. A staircase would take too much floorspace for my tastes and I'm not planning on storing huge objects overhead. Walls in the barn are 12' and posts are on 12' centers. Flooring is 3/4 tounge and groove OSB. Center post is a 6X6 mounted on a Simpson post base using a Simpson post connector on the top. 6" of concrete is under the area where the post is.

Turned out nice and solid. I'm going to enjoy the extra storage space.
