New Pole Building In Progress Pics

Just found this forum, it's great. I'm having a 40x60x14 pole barn built. I did all the site work including a 350ft stone driveway. The guys came today to start the barn but their day was cut short by thunder storms. I will update each day with pics. This is going to be a fun week!!!!

Thanks for sharing the photos. I am planning on building a 40x60x16 on our property soon and really appreciate your photos..

Looks like a nice project. The stones in your driveway are much bigger than we would use here. Is that just the base or is it the driving surface?

We did almost exactly the same for the shop at was was then my Dad's place (now my brothers since he passed on). 40 by 60 with 12 foot side wall. We put in a concrete floor and divider wall in one end 20 feet deep - makes about a 3-car sized end garage. We added another concrete strip down one side 12 feet wide for an office and stationary machines (air compressor, saw, etc) with a mezzanine storgae area above that. We left the ramaining area gravel for storing tractors / skid loader etc.
This has been the "family shop" for everything you want to do in a shop for about 15 years.:thumbup:
