New pole building - looking for advise

My lot is relatively narrow and long (185'x640'). I am looking to build a 36'X56'X16' pole building with an 8' lean to. and the wife is a bit concerned with the width of the building obstructing our view. We have a covered patio with a beautiful view of the woods behind and she is concerned that the building will block to much of this view. She would like me to look at reducing the width and increasing the length. My fear is the building looking too skinny and tall at 16' but with the lean to it might make up for it? Any thoughts? I have same type of discussions with my wife.

Solution: offer to plant trees in front of it!

But not so far away that running electrical to the new building is a problem. New fast growing trees and shrubs will help conceal the shop and problem solved.
