New Product - Kera-Quartz™ Surface Sealer

Howdy Gang, it's been a minute!
Happy to announce a brand-new product made here in the USA, co-developed between Legacy Industrial Corp and our trusted partner.
Our Kera-Quartz™ is a (2) component, water-based, ceramic sealer. Kera-Quartz™ has a Hyper-Bond, it will adhere to glass and metal. In addition it features a high-wear additive that also increases COF for areas that might get slippery. Here are some popular surfaces we have beta tested: LVP Tile, VCT Tile, Porcelain Tile, Epoxy, Acrylic Sealers, polished/semi-polished concrete and terrazzo. (1) gallon covers over 1000 sqft. No smell, no fumes, 0% VOC, ships to all lower 48.

I have trouble believing the coverage. A gallon covers more than 1000 sq ft, really. That means the applied thickness is .0015" / one and a half thousandth of an inch or less.

It is a micro-coating and i mean micro!!
Strong but mighty. It’s not a meat and potatoes product, this is designed to help protect surfaces, or in some cases rejuvenate them. I put it on the fenders of my tractor and created a super strong patina!! The minimum application would be two coats over vinyl flooring, could be as many as five over polished concrete.

Can it be tinted?

Yes, but we are still working on the tint. Coming soon but high-gloss will come first.

This is coming at a good time for me. I have a new shop finishing up and would apply this over concrete that is about 12 months old. Would a scuff sanding with your sanding disks (that show up on the product page) be the appropriate prep?
As for the tinting, if I could get a non uniform whitewashed look I’d love that — a swirly mopped on look.

You would have to take it up to at least 200 grit using a heavy buffer or polisher. Our BonzaPad-Shine allows the user to buff the KeraQuartz to a higher sheen once applied. The actual polishing needs to be done with a hybrid polishing tool. 50/100/200 grits.

Interestingly enough, we have two bathroom showers that are done is slate. I used @LegacyIndustrial polyurea on them before I handed them over to the tile guys and they turned out great... Have not re-coated them 3 years later.

This product would have been a lot less expensive.
