New Project Beginning in OH

Been lurking about this web site for several years. House was built in 1998, and have regretted not building a three-car garage. Having four cars, it is time to move forward.

Lot is such a challenge, that the only option is to add on to the end of the existing garage. So, construction begins soon, in the end we will have a 5 1/2 car garage.

I will post photos of the plans tomorrow. I really appreciate any suggestions you all may have.

Just make sure you get a permit from the city if you didn't already know. We had guys come this past Friday and start the garage slab and when the forman called the city for an inspection he found out we didn't have a permit. And the reason for that is I thought the contractor was supposed to pull it. So I gave them the go ahead before I had one and their was two red tags, one on my front door and one on the form for the slab! Wow that was embarrassing!
