Hello everyone. I've lurked here for a while and read a bunch of informative threads.
I'm currently building a 16x24 detached garage that will have a heated/cooled office on the second floor. So far the most difficult part was tracking down a concrete guy that would actually show up. I had a slab poured 2 weeks ago and framed the first floor yesterday and this morning. Things have been pretty smooth so far.
I'm certain that won't last forever and I'll be relying on the forum to get me through.
I have no real building experience other than home repairs, etc. but I'm a pretty quick learner and have been pouring over code and best practices. Should be an interesting project.
