Less than a buck per foot for epoxy, clear coat, and the heavy flakes.

No, Its the clear epoxy with UV additive. If you prefer the polyurea....I can always figure something out!

Great Deal! I purchased my full kit from Lowes and then ordered clear directly thru Christine. I purchased additional chips elsewhere, however, this is a great deal!

May I ask what makes this a good deal? I am considering using this product.

It looks like the regular price with more flakes. What am I missing?

On the clear, is it really necessary? Will the flakes get trashed if it is not cleared over the flakes.

How does it work to just throw flakes on top of floor paint? What keeps the flakes from being chipped and worn away with nothing protecting them?

I'm not comfortable with the acid prep for a number of reasons, namely I don't want to go to jail when the run off heads down the alley. I also am not keen on the fumes from the muriatic.

I guess I have to rent 200 in equipment from Home Depot and buy a 60 dollar diamond cup wheel for my 4.5 inch grinder to get in the places the big walk behind grinder won't go?

Thanks

I am looking at an area of 550 sq ft. Can I squeeze that out of 1 full kit, or do I have to go another half kit? Seems like I'll have to go light or heavy, or there will be alot leftover.

I would recommend going with the 1/2 kit. Stretching it and extra 50 ft is not a good idea.

Definitely go with the extra half kit and figure out your batches to put it on a bit thicker. I just did 500 sqft (just under) and it was suggested to also get a touch up kit. I used just about every bit of the touch up kit and the whole full kit. If I didn't have the touch up kit I would not have been happy at the very end. You have to account for what you lose in the rollers and other minor losses in floor variations and imperfections.

Spend the extra money!

how much would it be for one full kit and a half kit? or how much is just the half kit if I had my local lowes order it since they carry the full kits!?

Im covering 540 sqft and was going to try to just make one full kit work, but just read the comments above!

Also do any of the lowes stores also carry the clear kits?
