It's about time I get these before and after shots posted. I've been a long time lurker here gawking at the fine garages but here's the new home of my '00 Trans Am and '01 C5 vette. It's 24' x 22' with 9' ceilings.

Still thinking the doors need a new color, probably to match the lower grey color.

Thanks Racedeck!

Looks awesome, another great transformation. If you have some documented pics during the process you should start a thread if you plan to continue to tweak and improve your space.

Low post count maybe, just means I haven't the chance to add much new to the forum.

One Racedeck question I have, is there a good way to finish the edge of the floor next to a wall? Thermal expansion is pretty significant but I really don't like seeing a 1/4-1/2" of grey concrete showing all the way around the floor. Adding a 1/2" or greater thick floorboard would probably cover it but that would probably look just as bad.

What about painting the cement black, about an inch away from the wall all around. That way it blend in from your black baseboard trim to the black outline of your flooring design.
