I went with the racedeck tiles and have some observations.
We decided to use both the diamond and free flow tiles. The tiles were actually a little longer than 12". This could be due to our weather here in south Louisiana.
I did have a little trouble connecting diamond tiles to free flow tiles. I don't know if the diamond tiles may have expanded a slight bit more than the free flow. I used my rubber mallet to attach the diamond tiles. On the other hand, the free flow tiles were very easy. I was able to attach one point and simply walk on the edges.
I also ordered accupark tiles. Unfortunately, I didn't open the box until I had completed the flooring. The accupark tiles have specific tiles to use. I will do these another weekend after determining where we want the tires to stop.
Overall, we are very happy with the results. Melanie was very helpful and worked with me to get the delivery date at the end of the week. My wife posted pics on facebook and got deluged with "where did you get those?" questions.
Happy New Owner!

It's kinda tough for "middle agers" like me. My legs are still sore. Took about 4 hours doing it alone. In my case, the free flow tiles required little time on my knees. A second person would have been a big help.

My pic isn't that good. We wrapped the diamond tiles around the walls and one strip down the middle. I wanted to use the free flows at the door since they will not expand as much as the diamonds.

Still wondering how it is on your knees.
I'd try it myself if I had a sample
I used a small stool and sat quite a bit, which kept me off my knees. My hamstrings hurt, but my knees were ok.
If you contact the vendors, they will send you samples. Let them know you are a garage forum member and they will be very helpful.

I think he means working on your car while on your knees...that center section tile looks like it has pressure points that would be uncomfortable.

Does RD still offer GJ discounts?

All of the vendors that I contacted offered GJ discounts to me.

drive down to Santa Barbara and try it for yourself on my floor.

OR call Racedeck and have a free sample sent to you !

OR ask for somebody's opinion who has it.
How novel huh. People ask questions all the time here.
This is no different.

Driving to santa barbara, though it is a great spot on the 4th of July, is just plain stupid.
If I got a sample it would just become landfill at some point.
