Looks great and did you know that a race car garage that has RaceDeck also improves your ET's by .50 secs

q. We have considered racedeck but in the winter we get quite a bit of rain here. Presently there are small spots in the floor where water dripping off the car will make a small puddle of insignificant depth, that dries overnight usually. What happens when that water gets under the tiles? How does one avoid it turning into mold?

Anyone know how Race Deck will work in the north?
We get snow & slush for 4+ months a year. That snow + slush is packed full of salt, as it is I get piles of salt on my garage floor.I do sweep it up weekly (or more), but would be very concerned about salt damage to my floor under the Race Deck. How would or could I use Race Deck under these conditions?

I have this same concern too. So if water gets underneath and puddles, it will still evaporate while under the tiles? I was worried that it would just be forever wet under there.

I have one question about the floor. I understand that it stands up off of the concrete. But how is there air movement underneath if you have ramped tiles at the garage door and the other tiles are up against the walls? I can see a puddle drying on concrete if it is in the open as there is air movement from doors opening, maybe ceiling fans and such. But water trapped underneath with no air movement would seem to me like it could start mold after a while. Especially if you had a very wet Spring or Summer. Or is the 1/2" adequate enough for that.
I guess what I am getting at is that my garage floor is sloped and water will run to the corners and be trapped if not swept or squeegeed out. I may have to pick up some samples and test it out.
I too would like some with similar experiences to answer this. I can put a cup of water under my sample tile and leave it for a couple of days and the cup of water is there... but out in the open that same cup of water will dry in hours. I drive into my garage with snow falling off my car quite regularly, and as it is I don't have to do anything save pressure wash once per year, but with it trapped under tiles, I'd be concerned.
