Here's a couple of photos of my new lockdown handle that I recently made for my Reed 4C. Thanks for the ideas guys. I didn't expect it to look so factory. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. If anyone would like detailed info; just say so. Tony

I took an idea that Outlaw posted. I started with an 8" long 1/2" grade 2 bolt and put the threaded end in a 1/2" drill. I spun it while running a grinder on the hex part. That allowed for a pretty consistant grinding of the points off resulting in the end being round and centered. Then I threaded a nut on the other end pretty tight and put the threads of the bolt back in the chuck of the drill and spun it again and repeated the process for the nut. Then I cut the threads off and ground the nut end and the bolt head end flat enough to match the original handle.
