After too many years of limping along with the factory supplied rest, finally got around to making a better version. A lot of the inspiration came from watching the Wolverine rest in action on You Tube.

I have a lifetime hoard of 3/8 X 1" and 3/8 X 4" hot rolled barstock material, so that is what was used. It looks like overkill, but it is very rigid and stays put under use.

My rest is missing from my Baldor Grinder. If you don't mind, I'm going to duplicate for myself. Looks very nice, Thanks for sharing.

Very nice design there. I use 15" buffing wheels on my old Baldor, so they aren't needed on it, but gives me ideas for my other noname grinder.

Guess your neighbour is crazy, because there are always pieces flying with any grinder. Nobody turns that thing on without a face mask here.

Never had an incident and don't want any.
