Well I got started on the new roof for my 26' X 42 building, I purchased scissor trusses with the intent of building a new roof over the existing roof, but after removing the facia, drip edging etc... I have decided to remove the old trusses and replace them with the new scissor's. I will get the camera out as we start this project. On the weekend of 7/13 me, a couple of SIL's and a hired hand are going to attempt it. This will give me better than 12' of ceiling heigth in shop.

A nice upgrade project.
A one for one, in the same location, replacement?

Yes, definitely removing the old roof and redoing it all is the best idea. More work and delay, stuff to haul off and get rid of, but in the long run you will never regret it.

That is what I have came to the conclusion of, plus as an added benifit I will gain a foot or so of ceiling height, should be around 13' to the ceiling when complete, this will give me enough heigth to put in a lift eventually.
