Alright so this is my first post. This is sorta along the lines of a post that led me to the discovery of this forum. Anyway my family and I own a small repair shop in Texas. Mostly cars and light trucks. Occasionally a service truck or an Izuzu box come in. My current scanners are a Genisys 5.0 and a GM tech 2, and I think a few part store scanners that wandered in over the time. I love the geni and all the vehicles I can do without having a subscriptions. I also love the Tech 2 and all the special test I can run with it. But I don't feel like either one is enough anymore.
Ok no that I am done rambling, my question is what are some other Great scanners? I know the solus, the maxme, the ds708, the mentor.
I'm not a giant fan of having a vehicle subscription every month either. Being a small shop we see a variety and it doesn't seem worth it. With all that being said I would love some input from some other techs out there.
