I’m looking for a little advice for my new shed I had built a few weeks ago. As its winter in New England, I want to add heat and also prevent moisture/condensation. Hoping you guys can point me in the right direction.

The details:
12x16, Board & Batten currently still fairly green wood
8’ walls
Metal roof installed directly on furring strips (I can see metal from inside bldg.)
Currently no insulation & will have electricity
Located in RI

Right now I have been using an outdoor propane heater to knock off the chill while install the utilities and have been seeing condensation under the steel roof (cold steel + moisture from combustion) which should be expected. This shed will primarily be used as storage and as a workshop for my motorcycles so moisture should be avoided.

Heat plan is to go with a G73 electric heater since I only plan to heat it when I’m out there working which is after work when free or on a weekend. So maybe a realistic total of 10-15 4 hr periods during the winter though more would be fantastic. I am open to other suggestions as I am ok with a vented heater provided it doesn’t eat up floor space

With heat, insulation goes a long way but if I insulate it, I fear that it will create a moisture issue in the spring when it starts to warm up since it won’t be heated all the time (warm outside, cold inside). Is there a way to insulate a non-climate controlled (spring) building and avoid condensation? What about the roof?

And of course.. attached is a pic of the new shed.

Ayuh,.... Got any pictures of the roof, from inside,...

To stop it from sweatin', ya need to move the conditioned space, below it,...
Keep it(the steel) cold, both sides,....
