My wife and I built our house 18 yrs back and it's time to add a shed/workshop. The plan is to build this, clear out the basement and finish the basement. Our yard slopes in the back so I decided to pour columns with Sono-tube @ 2-3' above grade and fill dirt to elevation when complete.
I will post progress pix as I go. Dimensions; 20'x24' with a gambrel roof.

Gable studs and horizontal nailers for board and baton siding.
This is where we are to date.

Very nice! Congratulations on getting it up.:thumbup: You ought to have shingles on by winter weather.

Are you doing the work yourself? Looks like a good job.

How deep are the sonotubes into the existing grade?

Looking good!! That's going to be a great space.. I'm finding that I'm in need of a new shed myself...they tend to fill up too fast, for some reason... Lol

Yes doing it myself. 3' at minimum below grade. Mixed and poured 127 bags of Quicrete by hand and shoveled into tubes. The back tubes are approx. 9' ....UGH!!
Doing a metal roof.

Rock on, this is precisely what I'm thinking of doing.

I need a workshop and the shed companies are quoting $9k+ for something of much less quality.

Slow and steady wins the race! Going to be great when it's done. 127 bags of quicrete yourself? God bless ya, I might think twice myself! LOL!! Looks great!

Going slow, I had to order more drip edge, screws and clips for the roof. All that needs done for the roof is the ridge cap.

After some weather delays and being shorted on clips, screws, drip edge and butyl tape I was able to finish the roof today;
