got 12 CFL bulbs 105W 5000 w/ 12 inch reflectors. Should I put 3 rows of 3 or 3 rows of 4?
Figure extra can be used under awning or saved for spare

I put mine against steel 2x4 studs so I could flush mount my box. Hind sight it was a bit too flimsy. Unistrut would have been a better choice.

For the meter box I stood it off the PBR like Charles did. I installed riv-nuts to mount the meter box. The riv-nuts don't grip that thin so you need to find washers that fit the nut snug. A 1/4" - 24 tpi riv-nut recommended hole size is 0.392". An aircraft AN960-6 washer has a hole of 0.390". This is a perfect washer to put a 1/4" riv-nut into thin sheet metal.

Looking good! I have a similar setup with the 105 cfls 8ft apart and 4ft from the walls which is really working good. Curious where you got your reflectors??

Little frustrated had no idea electrican would cost so dam much got bids from 4500 to 6200.
After talking with inspector this morning he says city requires one disconnect per property. So I'm gonna most likely have to upgrade and run off the house.

My electrical cost $7800 with 17 T8 fixtures and ~ 18 receptacles. That is with me doing the install and the power company bringing in the 200 amp service at no charge. Estimate I got from an electrician to upgrade house to 320 amp service and split 200 amps to house and 200 amps to garage was $7000.

What was included from power company? Just meter n wires from pole?

I placed the meter pan and connected it to the CB box. Duke Electric came in and trenched and buried 400' of cable from the transformer to the meter pan and installed the meter.

Thanks DC that's my baby. 67 c 10

Sweet. I used to own a '68 short bed. Does yours have the small back window? Hard to tell from the photo the way it's backed in. I was told most '67s came with the small back window but some late in the model year ended up with the new larger back window that was planned for the '68s.

I've seen few big back window 67s not sure if original since 67-68 front ends are most desirable. Mine is small
