Smart move to paint it befor you put it up.
It sure is easy when you are on the ground compared to when you are on a ladder.
A full span, full lenngth overhead crane would be the real frosting on this cake.

10.5 did you paint the beams with a brush or spray gun? What paint did you use, RUSTOLEUM?
I am buying eith an OLYMPIA or HERITAGE building and problems or complaints with your building? Is there anything you would do differently?
thanks
Carl

I'm going to epoxy the floor grey.then put in my car hoist. Then I'm going to put 450sqft of Race Deck flooring in one end of the shop for a show room with a 60" plasma tv,a pool table a nice custom built bar table and chairs
and finish my bathroom.I'm also going to build a overhead crane hoist,And a
4' wide by 60' long mezzanine down one side.

Outlaw:
Perfect Garage !
I am ready to pull the trigger on an Olympia 30x40 Building. Is there anything you would do differently? Any problems with Olympia?
Any tips when assembling the building. I plan on painting it before hand also.
thanks
Carl

You gotta love huge spaces ! ! ! you are a lucky man 10.5 outlaw you've done a great job. I love the loft space and the choice of colors. What kind of materials did you use on the walls, it looks great.

I am about to embark on construction on my new garage 20'x40' on two floors and a 12'x22' smaller garage attached to the main building also on two floors and love to see what other people have done with their space. Can't wait to get it started ! ! !

Thanks for sharing ! ! !

Can you tell me the the specs on your storage loft. What size and type of metal for the structure and what thickness of the flooring. Did you fab the connectors or where they bought. How does it connect to the purlins thanks
