Well my shop is almost done... Lots of ideas learned from reading the forums here. I am very pleased with the results and am happy to say that things I learned here helped me to make some good decisions. Check it out... http://www.nostalgic.net/bicycle350.htm. 30 x 44 with 14 foot walls. I still need to finish the paint booth (that enclosed room behind the big door), the bathroom and the stairs and loft wall.

Wow, great set-up! Good color on the wall, makes it more interesting.
You have a great collection of signs, are they vintage?
Love the bike hanging way up on the wall, I'm sure that was fun to put up .

Thanks, the signs are genuine. The Mobilgas is of 1933-34 vintage and is painted/silk-screened plywood. I was told that this sign was only used in the Western states for those two years. It is double sided with the same graphics on the other side. I bought it from a collector who found it screwed to the side of an old building. He found two actuallly, kept one for himself. When he unscrewed the signs he saw that the back side was in great shape.. no sunlight or weather exposure!

Great work Dave! As others have mentioned, the signs really add some flair. Looks like a ton of storage space in the loft, although it appears you could use some more shelving/storage bins up there. Overall.. what a nice shop
