The new shop construction is progressing nicely. I posted first about one month ago, just after pouring the slab. We are building about 2300 square feet in the rear yard. The family gets a new pool, and I get a place to stay.

Front exterior, about two weeks ago. pool forming in the foreground.

A nice view of the pool and rear of the house while looking out of one of the triple windows on the front of the shop. A car will be parked in front of each window set.

Brick was completed today. Closed (faux) shutters will occupy the spaces to the left.

Benches/storage will go on this wall. Upstairs is a very large space for the "parts department"

Two post lift will be located in this area. Benchtop/base cabinets will go on the wall below the windows. I chose the windows because my eyes scream for more light with every passing year. These windows face south.

plastics,

Nice shop and pool you are doing. I am also from Louisiana around Baton Rouge. Is the rain killing you as it is me on my shop build?

I am also in Baton Rouge. Rain has been tough, but everyone seems to be working around it. My rear yard is a large size mess, made much worse by the rain.

If you get out Denham Springs way let me know , just ignore the traffic.

Bass Pro is open and it didn,t help any. Some kink of wild building though, worth the trip to see.

The cars I saw on oneof your other post are they yours, look nice.
