Looks like we are moving to a new shop . Its a wide open industrial space with a raw concrete floor that was previously a machine shop . Its fairly clean of any oil stains and such .
In the past , I have acid etched the concrete , let it dry and then painted it with a floor paint . For the most part , it looked and worked fine .
Is there a ''cliffs'' notes on whats right and wrong ? I have read that getting the floor wet is NOT a good idea . Should we just sweep it and call it a day , as far as prep work ? its a 4000 sqft space , my concern is the expense . Is there a reasonably priced product that the average group of semi drunks can apply ? We are a motorcycle shop , so no heavy vehicle traffic to worry about . TIA.
