Hello everybody
I'm one of those guys who plan n plan n plan at least a year or two ahead doing research n more research n making lots lots of phone calls n talking to companies, contracters n so on.

Propose of shop is agiculture and welding I do lots of semi truck n trailers project

Location is between jefferson city n rolla Missouri

I have a goal to build me a 60x60x16 shop with a 60x40x16 canopy. Building will be 60x100x16 with a 30x35x8 living quaters on the building side.

Building will be red iron. I have found and picked a high reputation builder who make the building, delivered and erected. Insulation, doors and windows included. He will not do anything else wich I understand and respect that.

I had thought bout putting a 3 ft diameter colum in the ground about 5 feet or till hit solid rock for the Pilar n fill the slab around it.
Any results on this? Or a full footing is better?

Trying to decide on 6 or 8 inch thick concrete in theshop I'm definitely goin to rebar n wire the **** out of it and put in plumbing and in floor heat shop and living quarters.

I will do everything from electric to piping etc in the shop. Will have 16 ft tin walls in between the pilars. I'm not goin crazy on the airline piping system at this moment

Any tips n advice?

Few pictures are the ideas I've have of what I'd like done just to give you ideas
Some of the deminsons are wrong but still rough sketching n so on
