I got this stainless shop stool from costco.com $40 shipped..
It's alot of metal for the money, swivel and adjustable height too. But it's very stable. I mean my foldable camping chair costed $15 already..

Not the most comfortable due to no padding.. at least don't have to worry about sparks and slags, but an upgrade over wooden stools. I have seen most of the craftsman one starts at 27-28", this one is at 25"-30".. not all of us have 39" work surfaces.
