Has anyone built one or seen one. I'm thinking 40X60 or 60X80 shop with an "old style" service station facade. Pictures or concepts would be appreciated.

Not near the size you are looking for but in my album are pics of the beginning stages of my 1400sf Texaco theme garage.

Thanks for the info, links and pictures. I'm Thinking something like the attached photo built onto the front of a steel building shop would give me the look I'm after. Think a flat awning out over the pumps (but not as far as these are would be a nice touch. The overhead doors could be the entrance into the larger shop. (sorry, can't figure out how to make the picture larger).

gritsngumbo, that station is an exact copy of an old one here.
Texaco must have had a standardized kit or something they used.

The porcelain and steel stations like that (Gulf, Texaco, etc) Pretty much came as a "kit". Prefabbed to company specs. Once in a while you find a whole one for sale.

He's a quick video I took last year of a neighbor who has created a small "antique village" on his farm. In this video, you'll see his newest addition - A gas station/country store. Not exactly the service station you were looking for, but maybe it'll give you some ideas.
