So, we sold the 14,000+ sq foot building a couple weeks ago (12,000 open warehouse, 2 6"x6" columns holding the whole structure up), and bought another building. This one is only like 9,000 sq feet, but it's set up with 6 bay doors, whereas the old one was just a 100x120 box, 2 bay doors, and a 2000+ foot office up front.

Since I don't have a garage at my condo, and mom would kill me if I changed my oil in hers, this is my shared garage with my step-dad.

It's a little bit of a mess, but we are going to get most of the stuff up on the racks sooner or later.

Router table I think? Came with the place.

Cooling System, you can see my Snap-on parts cleaner that we moved with all 30 gallons of fluid still in it.

Shear Power, needs work. The little valve thing that tells t to go down needs to be replaced.

My Delta/Crescent/and some other company Band Saw I recently picked up. Recent Baldor motor. Think I'm gonna paint it Miller Blue.

My Step-dad's toy. Well, the little one. One of the guys put the one this replaced into the lake at the jobsite. A 35 foot deep lake. Step-dad sold it back to Kelly Tractor, and then purschased this one from that, which used to be a rental. This thing scares me to death. We used this one to unload the truck we rented when we moved. We've got the TH560B at the jobsite.

The people in here before us did vacuum bagging and plastic molding and that kind of stuf, so the place is set up pretty nice. They ran all the air lines with what appears to be galvanize, with enough drops to keep me happy.

We've got a additional bay on each end. One's got a couple cars in it (85 Corvette, 71 Porsche 914, 32 Ford pickup). The other is all office space.

We moved in, and the guy that came to put the new doors in wanted to buy the building. I told my step-dad he better cut me in for 1/2 the profit if he's going to make me move all my stuff again :lol_hitti

We put everything on pallets, and then it took us one day to move EVERYTHING. 4 Latino helpers from one of the subs on the job, 2 French Canadians, 3 Crackers, and an Islander + a 26" flat truck, a 10 foot flat 4-ton truck, and 2 fork lifts made that happen. About 8 round trips, it was not the best day of our lives. And yes, you can put an 8500 lb fork lift on a 6,000 pound Big Tex car trailer. And for some reason, even though the forklift is about 3 inches off the ground, it will drive up the ramps on the trailer with 2x10s for a smooth surface, but my Porsche 914 we need some LONG 2x10s.

Anyone have any information on that router table thingy? It's a "d'invinceable" and just looking at the thing, it definitely is invinceable.

When I started the thread I thought ' hope he has a forklift to make use of that racking' but clearly you have that covered.

Cant help with the machine, but the ball siting on it looks like a net ball, didn't think you played that in the states?

Net ball? Volley ball over here. Which reminds me, that belongs to my ex-girlfriend, might be a good reason to go see her again :)

Yep similar ball to volley ball (DOH); Net ball is mainly a girls game down under, similar to basket ball, but can't run with the ball and no backboard. Might be why Aussie girls are so good at basket ball. Good luck with taking the ball back, hope it goes well.

Sorry about the hijack; I’m curious about that machine too.

Will this be a business for you guys? Quite a shop.

I'm sure W-Cummins will know what that "router table" is.

Sorry for not having better pictures of it!

It's basically a drill press with a ***********, and a foot actuated pedal to make the chuck go down.

BMWPower, no, it's just for personal use. Personal storage and jobsite storage. Since this one has 6 bay doors, we already put the for sale signs up for all or part of the space. Basically the storage pays for itself, and then some. The last warehouse we had for 2 years. Since property values are really only going up, he figures out what he wants to make vs what he paid, and sits on them until it happens.

I've got to figure out the 2 compressors, and how they feed the air and stuff, and then fix any leaks there may be. Should be fun!

Well you have me to wondering now. Clean off that thing you are calling a drill press and lets see some more pictures.

That something with the three phase power is a transformer. Read the front of it and it will tell you the primary voltage and the secondary voltage and that will give you a better idea of what it does.

Nice looking shop there by the way.

Hmm, I just realized that the first pic is of the same tool as the ninth. Definately a drill press of some sort, perhaps a hydrostaticly driven one? Infinate speed adjustments, hydraulic downfeed?

Doing a google search for SCM L'invincible R9 turns up a few hits, including an auction site which wouldn't let me view photos (maybe because of the firewall I'm behind). It's a Router, but I can't tell you anything more than that...

Did some web searching on it too, couldn't find a lot. I'm starting to think that it's a drill mortiser that has been converted (parts removed) to a drill press.

Have a look around for anything that might belong on it.

Well, according to one auction site that wasn't working correctly, it is a router.

I'll get some more pictures in a week and a half when I'm back down there. The warehouse is in West Palm.

Looks like an over arm pin router to me. They used to be popular but not used much anymore the cnc stuff has replaced them.
