Got 1/2 of my SK order today, still waiting on the flare wrenches. For now I'll have to abuse my set of 3/8" drive impact sockets. Broaching looks nice and tight, I'll see how they fit the fasteners tomorrow. So far gotta say I'm impressed with them.

Those look like the new SK, my NOS SK metric impacts don't have the lip on the inside. Those look nicer than mine as well. I did notice mine tend to wear a bit more than one would desire out of a $200+ set of impacts though. Hope they've tweaked their metallurgy and made them a little tougher - just going by looks, it seems as though they've improved them.

Wow, those look super nice... if that's the standard the rest of the line is held to, I see a lot of SK in my box in the future.

I'd like to know, too.

Also, to the OP:

Is the size only painted on, or is it also stamped on the bottom with the part number?

SK impacts are stamped and painted (I'm not the OP but just thought I'd answer for ya).

Painted and stamped, I got them thru www.mytoolstore.com. I have an 1-1/2" that I bought several years ago before they went thru the retooling and so far it's held up well under the abusing I put it thru at work. I'm hoping these hold up just as well for me, I'm getting itchy to play with them at work tomorrow...I forsee some things getting unnecessarily taken apart.
