My wife's new garage slab will be poured soon, 26x28.

I am interested in using a densifier and sealer.

What should I tell the concrete contractor as far as finish and additives?

I used 8505 with densifier. My concrete was power troweled with nothing else. Was left very smooth inside. Out side I have the brushed finish. It took quite a bit more product to do the brushed finished. The Ghostshield products work great.

No additives or sealers. Standard smooth trowel finish. However your finish is is how it will be since Ghostshield densifier/sealer penetrates into the floor and is not topical so it leaves the floor the way it is.

I did the TrueLock TL37 densifier and Ghostshield 8510 on the my front, rear sidewalks, patio and driveway. All I can say is WOW! We poured all this last Fall and it will look new for eternity.

My neighbor even made a comment after a rain how the water never soaked into the concrete.

My plan was to have the garage floor professionally coated (epoxy or something else) but I may do the TL37 and Ghostshield 8510 in there as well.
