Does anyone know the part number for the new Snap-On 1/4" drive extra long flex head comfort grip ratchet? I can't find it anywhere online and our Snap-On guy has no clue what I'm talking about. I think it is the TLLF72 model just with a comfort grip and an extra 1-1/2" added to the overall length. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have just got the tllf72, I didn't want to go comfort grip again after my last one disintegrated from oil contamination, ive had chrome handles before but I'm liking them again.

You will have to make it currently that is what I did with a hard handle

The correct number will probably be thllf72 when or if it is released

Yep, that's it. I did a little searching to verify that's what it is alright. This guy's showing off his in this review:

Is it SOP for Snap On to bury new items like that in 'non catalog items' with no image or info?

Looks like really handy little ratchet. I worry sometimes using longer handle ratchets, especially 1/4", as it throws off the ol' 'guttenteit' torque standard for me, but it looks like it could get in some places I otherwise might not be able to with my current arsenal. I might have to pick one up. We'll have to see what if I have anything left once the x'mas shopping is done.

I can appreciate the quality of the tool.

Does the handle really need to be that long for a 1/4" drive ratchet?

Is there a specific advantage to a handle that long for small fasteners?

Re-inventing the wheel, they've run out of normal lengths to release.

yep, plus lower profile+lighter weight, not needing multiple rails of sockets if already working in 1/4 drive etc. 3/8 and 1/2 when the time is right of course--they are alot stiffer--but these are for reach and easing stuff off awkward location bolts.

How long is the handle? Doesn't list it on the specs.

I believe it comes out to just over 12".

Thanks shockwave for the part #. Pretty stoked to be able to get one ordered now. I've been wanting to get my hands on one ever since I saw Bruce Allen review it in his video. I couldn't tell you how many Snap-On dealers I've asked now that had no clue what I was talking about. I even had one Snap-On guy try to argue with me that they didn't exist. :lol_hitti

I saw one today on snap on truck and hard handle and was going to get one but I traded a brand new shl80/15" 1/2 ratchet for 1/4 with pink hard handle, 2 1/4 Mac like new 1 soft grip 1 flex, a pink hoodie, and a 1/2 long handle cornwell lol what a deal and I got a pair of Mac needle nose and 18"? Pry bar for $20 and got free big decal and pocket screwdriver, and traded new black ratcheting screwdriver for a pink one. Damn I like my snap on guy he is the best he also warrantied my old f72 3/8 for a new f80 and this was first time I had ever met him.. It helps to know people in high place or married into the family. He's wanting a sponsorship for his drag car and to sell some products on his truck (Lucas Oil) going to set him up with right people and buy from him from now on.
